[LincolnTalk] The First Amendment and a Free Press

J Palmer
In light of the lack of coverage of the torturous imprisonment of Julian Assange and the banishment of Edward Snowden for publishing truth and in light of the lack of coverage by corporate owned press of events at the Venezuelan Embassy in Washington DC and the possible imminent wars in Venezuela? Iran? Cuba? you might want to attend the following in Bedford tomorrow evening at the library to discuss the rapidly disappearing First Amendment.
"Please join us in a community conversation about The First Amendment and the Free Press, from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Bedford Library meeting room on Monday, May 13. The program features a panel of experts from the New England First Amendment Coalition (NEFAC) and is sponsored by The Bedford Citizen, and the Bedford Free Public Library."  7-8:30, Monday, May 13, Bedford Library.     https://www.thebedfordcitizen.org/2019/05/freedom-of-the-press-join-the-citizen-for-a-deeper-look-at-the-first-amendment-may-13-at-7-pm/

“Hope is not the conviction that something will turn out well but the certainty that something is worth doing no matter how it turns out.” Vaclav Havel

If your existence gives comfort to another life, then you have given your life meaning.

"Three things in human life are important: The first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind."  Henry James
