[LincolnTalk] Networking-South Sudanese looking for a job
Good morning! One of the issues that refugees face is networking. They tend not to have systems available to them where they can network once they become educated. At this point many of the "Lost Boys " have received a great education but they can't find work. My experience is that as a group, they learn quickly and are hard workers.
I am going to post this for Sam and if you have any connections for him- send them his way!
My name is Samuel Machuor. I am one of the “Lost Boys from Sudan.” I am looking for an opportunity in financial or in humanitarian affairs.
I went to UMass Dartmouth where I did very well and was honored to be the Commencement speaker. I was the Captain of the Track Team and graduated Cum Laude. I went on to Cambridge College where I got my MBA.
My true passion is to work for the World Bank, the United Nations, the USAID (United States Agency for International Development) however, I am open to working for any non-profit or for-profit organization.
I’m interested in networking with anyone who has any thoughts or connections in the nonprofit or for-profit world. Please email me if you would like a copy of my resume or if you would like to talk or meet with me. I can be reached at [hidden email]
