[LincolnTalk] July 4th Car Parade

Lincoln mailing list

I just watched the July 4th car parade roll down Tower Road and was so touched by the effort and enthusiasm (and sentiments!) of the participants. Thanks to all who helped make this town celebration happen!

Best,

The Lincoln Squirrel invites Lincolnites who took photos of the car parade or anything else Fourth-related to send them in, and we'll publish an album on the Squirrel website. Please include the names of the photographer and (if possible) anyone identifiable in the photo, as well as the time and place it was taken. Send photos and any questions to [hidden email]. Thanks!

I agree totally.  The "floats" were appropriate for the time in which we find ourselves.  But it sure was strange not having Lincoln Road lined with people cheering.  Thank you to those who set the proper tone for July 4, 2020.
